TO CC Dance
We are so glad you found us . .
Founded in February 1999 by Deana Morgan, the Deana Morgan Academy (formerly Dance Machine now affectionately referred to as “DMA”) is now owned and managed by Clare Quinn & Miss Catriona Murdock of CC Dance. Based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, CC Dance is recognised as a pre-vocational dance training provider by the Council for Dance Education and Training and has achieved a reputation as a place to train if you want to pursue a career in dance & theatre, however, children attend dance classes for the sheer fun and enjoyment of learning to dance and for the amazing performance opportunities offered to all its students.
Clare & Miss Catriona together create a safe, caring and state of the art environment for the children to train in with a highly skilled and qualified faculty of teachers who share their passion & vision to pass on a love of dance, musical theatre and performance. Operating from its own premises, The Studios, boasts over 200 children who study theatre dance, singing and drama and children who participate in Commercial Street dance classes on a weekly basis.
Students study for IDTA & RAD theatre, street dance and musical theatre examinations, have won numerous awards at local dance competitions and stage their own production at the Alhambra Theatre in Bradford.
Previous performance opportunities at the school include Sadler’s Wells Theatre, London, The London Palladium, The o2 Arena and also The Royal Albert Hall. In addition, they have on five occasions staged their own twenty minute production in the Magic Kingdom in the Disneyland Resort, Paris as well as leading the Main Street Parade; the stuff of which dreams are made.
Past pupils that have been part of the DMA journey and taught by Deana Morgan are:
Kimberley Walsh, (Girls aloud) Bleu Woodward, (South Pacific, Mamma Mia!, Kinky Boots), Joshua Barwick, (Rambert & Northern Ballet) and there are many more too many to list here.
Our own students who train on the CC Dance Associate Ballet, Jazz & Commercial Street Dance programmes are recognised as having potential and are encouraged to represent the school in competition and to audition for colleges and full time vocational training. CC Dance Company also has a very busy triple threat evening where children can take vocal and acting training to complement their dance endeavours.
Please contact the office today to book your child’s FREE trial and also take a tour around our newly refurbished elite studios. We would love to be part of their dance & performance journey.

She then set up a stairlift business in 2002 which she has since sold. Clare is now the Managing Director of a National Stairlift manufacturer working full time from Leeds and the West Midlands. Clare has a goal of ensuring that the highest standard of training is offered so that each child can build on their confidence and achieve their dreams.
